Job description
- Create, build, and deploy new AWS solutions in support of data integration and data delivery.
- Collaborate with technical lead, product owners, architects, and other project team members to create and test robust, re-usable patterns.
- Understand, diagnose, and resolve technical and production incident issues.
- Monitor and validate deployments to confirm expected behavior.
- Collect and implement software application requirements defined by business users, architects.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Information Technology, Business, Communications, Finance, Logistics, Marketing, Engineering, or equivalent
- 4+ years of experience engineering and deploying AWS based environments.
- Developing and maintaining applications built on Amazon VPC EC2 AWS Lambda Amazon EFS/EBS/S3 ELB Cloud Formation SNS and databases such as RDS and Redshift.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Windows Server Linux Virtual Environments and Containers. - Proficient in the administration and performance tuning of ELK stacks.
- 3+ years of working knowledge with the ETL analytics and reporting tools and services.
- Deep knowledge of writing infrastructure as code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Experience working with software development teams and CI/CD. - Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies used with ETL and big data pipelines such as Glue Kinesis EMR HIVE Spark S3 SQS and SNS.
- Demonstrated experience with Kubernetes or EKS. Technical Requirements Strong hands-on experience in development and ongoing management of AWS cloud environment.
- Knowledge in development languages such as Node.js Python Ruby terraform etc. as it relates to serverless & scripting - Experience with containerized microservices delivered with Docker Kubernetes (AWS EKS) or OpenShift 4.x a plus.
- Container virtualization and Linux/Windows operating systems experience.
