Summary: Operate delivery vehicle efficiently and safely along designated routes to promptly deliver products or provide services.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers
  • Ability to learn, and effectively use, various business systems
  • Valid WI Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide reliable and flexible transportation to multiple Werner Electric Supply locations as directed by Warehouse Supervisors.
  • Perform a variety of deliveries, including dedicated deliveries, standard routes, same-day deliveries, pick-ups, and returns.
  • Represent Werner Electric Supply in a professional manner, maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines of Werner Electric Supply while executing job duties and operating equipment.
  • Load trucks and safely drive to customer job sites or businesses to deliver products.
  • Effectively communicate and relay customer instructions to appropriate personnel.
  • Provide valuable feedback to supervisors based on field observations and customer interactions.
  • Assist in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, receiving, wire cutting, put away, general cleanup, cycle counting, and returns.
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
