Surfside Pizza and Ice Cream is a small, fast growing business in Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, AL. We currently have 3 locations on the Alabama Gulf Coast. We are located in West Beach, Gulf Shores, & Orange Beach.

Job Description

Maintain a positive attitude and cooperative working environment, maximizing productivity and being highly engaged. This position is responsible for executing customers’ orders, considering special request, to create consistent, high-quality pizzas. Drivers are expected to be the face of the company as you will most likely be the only person the customer will see. Looking for dependable, friendly, fast paced individuals to have fun while earning a great living. Applicant will be required to drive their own vehicle to and from the store and customers' homes, therefore the vehicle must be registered, dependable and insured, proof of insurance must be provided.

Drivers are paid an hourly rate while in the store, employee will assist in the operation of the store when not on a delivery, including cleaning, cooking, dishes, sweeping, customer service, etc. When the driver is dispatched, on a delivery, the employee is paid mileage and will keep all the tips earned on that shift. Cash tips you take home with you, credit card tips are paid on your paycheck.

· Maintain daily and weekly cleaning checklists and uphold cleanliness and organization standards

· To meet the company appearance standards each shift including, but not limited to: proper personal hygiene, uniform, grooming and personal presentation

· Maintain a clean cooking station and sterilize equipment

· Knowledge of ingredients, recipes and pizza-making process

· Perform pizza-making duties without supervision

· Be Knowledgeable of pizza oven operations and maintenance to train and assist others

· Work directly with management and maintain inventory systems to assist in controlling costs

Physical Demands

· Standing a minimum of 8 hours per day

· Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and occasionally lift 50 pounds

Qualifications

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Strong ability to multi-task

· Works with a sense of urgency to match the business needs

· Experience in culinary, in a fast-paced environment is preferred but not necessary

· Able to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing

· Able to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed

· Follow all rules, policies, procedures, and conditions of employment, including those outlined in the Employee Handbook

· Get along well with others and be a team player

· Must have excellent communication skills

· Other duties and tasks as assigned by management
