Partner with your team SLG/ELG leader to direct all aspects of assigned portfolio. Partner with department SLG leader on specific projects. Work with Transformation Office on managing portfolio health, schedule, scenario planning, dependencies and risk mitigation. Manage portfolio level transformation projects across the enterprise, include Compliance, Product Development, Marketing, Distribution, Operations, IT, HR and Finance. Will serve to work on behalf of and with the ELG, BU SLG, and transformation office to lead us through periods of transition. Work with main teams and with strategic leaders to develop business cases and program/initiative plan recommendations. Will be a main contact within the Transformation Office to partners/leaders and can work in a matrixed organization. We ask that you be a reasonable understanding of the main support areas and how issues will affect and affect your team and enterprise programs.

What you do:

  • Accountable for strategic portfolio by aligning Portfolio Owner, SLG leaders, and Business Sponsors on projects and priorities. Will be a resource to executive and senior management, recommending solutions and facilitating decision-making that supports the strategic direction of the portfolio and Company. Validate timelines, program goals and management of risks to meet enterprise/portfolio deadlines.
  • Lead overall strategic portfolio by partnering with Project Managers across the business who will manage each initiative or project. Will be a partner to executives and senior management, ensuring dependencies are understood and communicated/resolved, recommend solutions and facilitate decision-making that support the strategic initiative/portfolio direction. As a member of the transformation office, will help guide strategic planning, prioritization, resource planning, and overall budget management. Will guide projects and connectivity with ELG, SLG and our multiple internal/external partners.
  • Manage the understanding of projects across the enterprise. Work with teams to eliminate barriers to execution. Build relationships across senior leaders across the organization to ensure program/portfolio success. Develop portfolio or enterprise communications across the enterprise. Foster a culture of transparency in communication and program management.
  • Identify and support improvement of all aspects of program/portfolio management. Use PMO best practices by partnering with Project Managers to standardize practices across projects to lead consistency and seamless deliver across the portfolio.

What you bring:

Minimum Requirements: 8 or more years of experience required:

  • Experience managing large portfolios, managing budgets, business case development, program management, planning, managing projects in a matrix environment, leading large-scale change management.
  • PMP or Agile Certification
