Job description
The Director of Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation will lead all aspects of the UTSW Adult Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplant (SCT) Program, including oversight of clinical care, research and education. The Director will report to the Chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology, with a secondary report to the Head of the Section of Hematologic Malignancies and Cellular Therapy.Qualifications: DO, MD or MD/PhD; Eligible for full physician licensure in Texas; Active Board of Internal Medicine certification in hematology and/or medical oncology; >5 years of experience in a mid- high volume, academically rigorous allogeneic SCT Program; Track record as a clinical or translational research investigator with grant participation; Evidence of mentorship of junior faculty and fellows; Evidence of success in multidisciplinary teams.
Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full-time schedule. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience.
