Senior level strategic role within the US Supply Chain Organization. Individual needs to demonstrate strong executive presence and leadership capability as the primary category point of contact for manufacturing, sales planning, finance and logistics. The individual must bring proven ability to drive supply chain transformation, digital leadership & organizational savvy. He/She needs to possess extensive experience in core business processes (e.g. integrated Business Planning, S&OE etc.), be as a Subject Matter Expert, with a demonstrated track record of leading people and building teams - setting performance standards, coaching, and developing capability.
1.) Design roadmap to achieve CFR across relevant category within the US Business.
2.) Lead IBP implementation and forecasting excellence with a customer centric approach to ensure business goals are achieved.
3.) Build capability on Demand/Supply planning and Commercialization (PCM) to ensure smooth execution within relevant category.
4.) Define DIOH targets per category/brand, quantify volume reduction, establish inventory management governance, define inventory reduction phasing.
5.) Identify capacity constraints and lead communication with critical stakeholders to keep them informed.
6.) Collaborate with internal (commercial and supply chain teams) and if necessary, external stakeholders (customers and third-party providers) to ensure objectives are met.
7.) Deliver process and performance excellence, looking for opportunities to continuously improve across all domains of demand planning, supply planning, and commercialization in order to drive improved forecasting accuracy, service levels and project management.
8.) Drive transformational improvement in PCM capability to ensure our innovation, productivity, BCP, and capacity expansion pipeline is successfully rolled out on time and on budget.
9.) Developing next generation talent, driving employee morale & engagement within the organization
What you need to know about this position:
- Successful candidate will have a minimum of 10-15 years of business experience in Supply Chain including, but not limited to, production and fulfillment planning, distribution operations and/or demand planning. Experience in management of direct reports is required.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Comprehensive supply chain, economic, financial or logistics experience and strong business acumen ideally within an FMCG/CPG environment
Education / Certifications:
- BS/BA required, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics or Operations Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
Job specific requirements:
- Significant experience in driving supply review and participation in an IBP cycle
- Strategic agility, able to drive for cross-functional results by proactively understanding and managing key issues and success criteria, and prioritizing accordingly
- Project personal maturity and tact to effectively work with cross-functional team members to deal with conflicting priorities and ambiguity
- Strong senior leadership influencing skills and organizational agility. Able to build effective teams
- Knowledgeable in leading demand planning and supply chain concepts
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills
