Lubrizol is currently looking for a
Director of Infrastructure Technology Services, reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology Operations. This is the most senior role in the infrastructure technology function within IT. In this role, you will be accountable for delivery and security of global IT Infrastructure technology and services throughout the organization, enabling business capabilities and services across the enterprise. You will bring experience, knowledge, and future vision for transforming the IT Infrastructure function including its strategy, operating model, product and service offerings and workforce. You will be a senior stakeholder in all relationships with externally sourced infrastructure capabilities. As a key member of the senior IT leadership team, you will contribute to the development and execution of the enterprise-wide IT strategy and set the roadmap for the IT Infrastructure. You will also engage with senior executive sponsors across the business to educate and gain buy-in on value proposition as well as provide guidance on prioritization. This role can be based at our Global Headquarters in Wickliffe, OH, or our Deer Park, TX facility.
What you will do:
Leading the IT Infrastructure Technology Services:
- Ensure IT operational excellence, world class IS services and a great user experience to nearly 10,000 users around the world. Oversee the technological global infrastructure (global network connecting 43 countries, ~13,500 client devices and ~2,000 production servers) in the organization to ensure optimal performance.
- Evaluate, implement, and maintain infrastructure technologies and services, including the global network (IT/OT), phones, computers, printers, servers (on-prem and cloud), data center, software (versioning, patching, deployment), MS Office 365 suite (Including SharePoint), databases, SAP Basis, and functional support of over 50 global sites.
- Introduces innovative, differentiating infrastructure and operations capabilities that enhance our overall competitive capabilities and enhance employee productivity.
- Work with the IT senior leadership team on the service portfolio and governance required to prioritize resources, including budget. Works with key stakeholders to measure and prioritize technical debt remediation.
- Develop and control the annual IT Infrastructure budget to ensure that it's consistent with the overall strategic objectives of IT and the enterprise and is within plan. Creates a culture of continuous cost optimization.
- Collaborate with the Senior Director of Cyber Security to ensure IT Infrastructure contributes to, embraces, and applies security strategy.
- Improve IT resilience by executing strategies that improve reliability, tolerability, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Keep track of trends and provides direction on what emerging technologies should be incorporated into IT products and business strategy. Directly accountability on lead the Lubrizol Cloud transformation strategy and adoption.

- Leads a global and diverse team of around 70 employees and contractors, understanding generational needs, cultural differences and demonstrating commitment to diversity and inclusion.
- Drives the team success by coaching and personal development plans - establishes a vision, sets goals, and defines a strategy for achieving established goals and continuously improves the team’s talent position; ensures engagement and alignment of both direct and indirect reports.
- Partners, Influences, and gains acceptance of leaders through effective and crisp communications, relevant and insightful analysis, creative thinking, and a results orientation.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and business partners to ensure appropriate expectation setting and timely delivery on promises made as a IT Infrastructure.
What you need to have:
- Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure, with background in designing/developing IT systems, services and planning IT implementations.
- Experience with Cloud first, architecture and strategy.
- Excellent communications skills, people relationship and emotional intelligence.
