Job description
Provides supervisory oversight and management of SBYSP staff and lead development of program's administrative and programmatic operation. Completes reports, attends state meetings, works collaboratively with school district, students, families and community agencies. Represents the program at meetings & markets the program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Education or another Social Service-related field.
- 3-5 years' management/ supervisory experience and history of working in collaboration with youth and community.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with adolescent program development and counseling or case management services to adolescents.
Certification/Licensure:
- Counseling license preferred; not required. CPR and First Aid required.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must have outstanding human relation and leadership skills, and the ability to function as a team.
- Must be able to work flexible schedules with frequent interruptions; possesses willingness to improve by attending seminars or educational programs geared toward enhancing skills and knowledge relative to adolescent health and social services.
- Must possess effective oral and written communication skills and exhibit computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
