Local logistics company seeking highly motivated Customer Service Reps for Dispatcher position. Hiring multiple Dispatch candidates immediately!

Spherion is partnering with a Logistics company in the Odessa area to fill their need for Dispatchers. This Dispatch position is Temp-to-HIRE. The ideal Dispatch candidate would be open to working weekends, is Bilingual in Spanish and English and would be proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Schedule:

Must be willing to work some weekends | Full-Time | 9:00AM - 6:00PM

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and business partners via softphone, telephone and email
• Handle customer complaints in a calm, professional manner
• Diagnose, assess and resolve problems or issues
• Monitor progress of delivery routes
• Scan haul-away pods and verify stamps
• Process changes or cancellations to delivery orders
• Additional duties as requested
• Dispatching for our drivers
• Client billing and data entry tasks

Responsibilities for Router:

• Maintain phone communication between external customers and contracted drivers/couriers
• Assist contracted drivers with delivery issues
• Resolve any customer issues, complaints and answer questions
• Monitoring progress of delivery routes
• Client billing and data entry tasks
• Assign drivers/couriers delivery routes
• Oversee all unloading processes of returning routes at days end
• Additional duties as requested
• Assisting with dispatch on occasion.
• Next day route planning and scheduling

Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to satisfactorily resolve issues
• Solid ability to multitask with exceptional organizational skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure while delivering solutions that exceed customer expectations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Experience in a call center environment

Job Type: Full-time
