A. Position Overview

Visionet is looking for an experienced professional to fill the role of EDI Analyst in our Products Division. In this role the candidate will work with our client’s to understand their data integration needs to implement PartnerLinQ our next generation, supply chain connectivity product. The ideal candidate would have robust practical Supply Chain knowledge and EDI expertise to understand client’s supply chain integration needs, be a subject matter expert on EDI processes and transaction documents and work as a member of the implementation team to engage or help migrate the client’s trading partners or system integrations onto PartnerLinQ. Operational knowledge in the Consumer Products, Retail, Fashion Apparel, Transportation/Logistics, Food/Beverage, and Manufacturing industries is desired.

B. Key Responsibilities

· Provide Supply Chain and EDI technical expertise to document client’s business requirements, including the identification of EDI transaction documents, mapping specifications and trading partner requirements.

· Understand and distinguish client’s requests from the underlying true needs to determine requirements.

· Determine, define and document mapping requirement specifications from client or trading partner guidelines.

· Work with project team members to ensure that they understand the mapping and integration specifications to deliver successful implementations.

· Be client facing and interact with a client’s external trading partners and/or internal business partners.

· Be an escalation point to resolve issues from client and client’s trading partners.

· Where applicable, train client’s end-users on the proper use of PartnerLinQ.

· Ability to work with the vast array of information and to cope with rapidly changing information.

C. Education / Experience Qualifications

· Four year college degree or equivalent in related field experience.

4+ years Supply Chain experience in mid to large, multi-national enterprise organizations preferred.

· Strong understanding of Supply Chain/B2B processes and applied usage of business processes and transactions (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay).

· Hands on experience working with EDI standards; X12, VICS, UN/EDIFACT, EANCOM.

· Hands on experience of EDI transport protocols (AS2, VAN, FTP, SFTP).

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience communicating and presenting information to clients and external parties.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
