A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN EDUCATIONAL OPERATIONS CONSULTANT
As an Educational Operations Consultant, you have the important job of assisting the COO in overseeing operational items in each of the home health and hospice offices. The position performs operational audits at each of the locations, determines where education is required, assists in each of the non-clinical roles when there are staffing issues, assists with and monitors billing in the offices. Also, assists the billing manager as needed to ensure timely billing for home health and hospice. This role requires good communication and skills for educating adult learners. This position may occasionally assist with medical records, scheduling, and participate in training activities & orientation.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN EDUCATIONAL OPERATIONS CONSULTANT
- High school diploma OR equivalent
- 1+ years of experience with home health and/or hospice as a medical records clerk, billing specialist or scheduler is preferred.
- HomeCare HomeBase software experience is preferred but not required.
- Computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Familiarity with operating office equipment such as fax and copier machines
- Excellent communication

WORK SCHEDULE FOR AN EDUCATIONAL OPERATIONS CONSULTANT
This administrative position works a typical schedule of Monday - Friday from 8 am -5 pm and is subject to frequent state-wide traveling to each of the branches.
