What is the role about?
Reporting to the Vice President, Global Talent Acquisition & Employee Experience, the Manager, Global Employee Experience will be responsible for the implementation of projects that will enhance the employee experience for our 100k+ employees.
What will you be responsible for?
This role will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of Leads & Specialists to implement multiple shipboard, shoreside, and private destination projects simultaneously, driving organizational-wide change to the Employee Experience.
- Manage team & project budgets to deliver experiences, while also providing SOP & budget recommendations for all future program execution.
- Provide project status and updates to executive leadership; navigating feedback from stakeholders while ensuring implementation stays true to the strategic project recommendation.
What skills or talents are needed to be successful?
- Project Owner. Someone that knows how to drive meaningful change and takes full responsibility in ensuring a project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Prioritization Guru. Someone that intuitively can understand what are the most important project elements that need to be organized and delivered; while also ensuring the “small stuff” can get done as well.
- Cross-functional expert. Someone that knows how to work with partners throughout the organization to gain their support and assistance in getting a project off the ground.
- Key Input Stakeholders: Employee Experience Innovation, People Analytics, Executive Leadership
- Key Implementation Stakeholders: Operational partners (inside and outside the HR function)
- Key Executional Stakeholders: Long-term operational owners that will be responsible for continued program/project execution
- Problem-solver, question-asker. A team member that can approach a new challenge with a curiosity and drive to find the answers where they may not have previously been identified
- Innovative Mindset within Business Restrictions. Someone that sees the constraints of a project as another piece of the puzzle to solve, ultimately delivering change that all faucets of the business can support.
- Maintain a big-picture perspective; must be able to link programs, communications, and activities that generate insights and lead to a cohesive employee experience.
- Ability to drive the implementation and programming of never been done projects (project plan development, communication, implementation, partnering with business owners, hand-off to ensure sustainable impact, etc).
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or Marketing; Master’s degree desired
- 7-8 years of applied experience working in project management, marketing, or strategic/experience development
