The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time tenure track Investigator at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. This position will also collaborate with the Department of Medical Social Science. The research focus will be on health services and patient-centered outcomes. The intent is to translate real patient outcomes data into meaningful new knowledge allowing investigation into knee and hip osteoarthritis etiology. Additional focus will be on progression, treatment and the methods to improve osteoarthritis and Orthopaedic outcomes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the establishment and growth of new program research for the department located at the downtown campus. Candidates should possess strong database management and analytic skills as well as organizational skills to collaborate on interdisciplinary research within the department and with researchers across the institution. Additional collaborations will be required with established research programs within the new IPHAM Center on Dissemination and Implementation Science.

Qualified candidates will be an accomplished scientist investigator with a track record of obtaining federal grant funding in the field of Osteoarthritis and patient reported outcomes.
