About the Job:
The Orthodontist & Co is an established, state-of-the-art, luxurious orthodontic practice, and is currently seeking a full-time Front Desk oin our dynamic team.
Our Front Office team is engaging, system-oriented and has a strong emphasis on delivering an excellent customer service. We use of the latest technology in order to provide the highest quality patient care. The practice is very team-driven with work culture of collaboration versus working solo. We offer a friendly, caring work atmosphere, achievable bonuses, five-day work week and competitive pay and benefits. Qualified team members will also have travel opportunities with our team around the US & abroad for continuing dental education.
We have a brand new industrial-chic boutique practice accessible to 7, N, W, F, E, M, R & Q trains in Upper East Side, Manhattan & Long Island City, Queens.

Are willing to clean, sanitize and organize the patient lounge, brushing station patient rest room at all times

Are able to do front office support, such as greeting patients, answering phones, scheduling appointments, read & understand patient records, document conversations, and guiding them with filling-up e-forms
Are willing to be cross-trained in some clinical responsibilities such as taking photographs, scanning, clean instruments and turn-down chairs
Demonstrate a commitment to ongoing professional development
Prioritize patient rapport and outstanding customer service
Show a strong respect for all of your coworkers, regardless of position
Have experience performing routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files.
Are committed to adhering to strict confidentiality and ethical standards
Have the ability to work flexible hours if business needs require
Your history likely shows:
High school diploma
One year minimum customer service experience
Accurate keyboarding skills at 40 words per minute.
Excellent communication skills – talking to others to convey information effectively and accurately
Strong organizational and administrative skills – you see what needs to be done and do it
Ability to multi-task, take initiative and anticipate needs of others
Ability to project a positive, warm and professional image in person and on the phone
Flexibility – you understand that your job duties may change from time to time and that you may be asked to “help out” in other areas of the office.
