Full Charge Bookkeeper

Oversee all aspects of the Company’s Accounting, Finance and Payroll

Assist CPA in the preparation of corporate income taxes as well as quarterly 941-DE9, year-end W-2s and 1099s

Handle monthly bank reconciliations and monthly Union calculations

Manage Accounts Receivables, Job Cost processing and analysis

Coordinate Accounts Payable, including vendor management, monitoring due dates

Prepare all Corporate State and Federal filings and Annual Meeting Minutes

Oversee and assist with payroll and direct deposits, including prevailing wage/certified payroll

Office Manager – HR

HR and Onboarding of New Applicants, including Union and Project-Specific Mandates

(drug testing, background checks, etc.)

Provides human resources advice and consultation to employees and management, to include coaching and counseling on performance management issues, conflict management, interpretation of employment policies and resolution

Identifies training needs and/or gaps and develops training programs as appropriate

Oversee and maintain day-to-day company operations

Participates in twice-yearly insurance audits and renewals

Manage Verizon and Utility services

Construction Billing Specialist

Prepares all monthly project-specific billing invoices

Works directly with owner, superintendent and project manager to ensure that the contract document requirements are in compliance for monthly billing cycles

Monitors, tracks and updates change order logs for each project

Ensures subcontractors invoices are accurate and in compliance for payment

Other Skills/Specialties

Excellent organization, time management, attention to detail, and communication skills

Must be a self-starter who is reliable, responsible and a decisive decision maker

Ability to multi-task as well as flexibility with shifting priorities

Keen understanding of the construction industry and processes, including AIA forms and various billing software – i.e. Textura

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project or construction management software

Notary Public preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
