Plant Care Technician/Horticulturist
Join our growing service team and work in the “green” industry! This is a part-time position with a set route/schedule. We are looking for someone who works well independently and thrives on routine. Summary of Position
The Plant Care Technicians primary responsibilities are the care and maintenance of interior and exterior plants at commercial locations using one’s own vehicle with reimbursed mileage and usage and performing interior/exterior and holiday installations. The service/installation coverage area is between Franklin and Norwell, MA and surrounding areas. This individual must be organized, possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, walk long distances, comfortable climbing ladders at least 8’ high and be comfortable working in high profile corporate environments. Some Saturdays during busy season may be required.
Responsibilities
Maintain live plants in commercial and residential setting according to an established schedule.
Perform plant maintenance duties including but not limited to inspecting, cleaning, grooming, rotating, watering, and removal of debris.
Follow service routing plan using time tracking smart phone application.
Prep, delivery and installation of live plants in commercial and residential facilities. Delivery and installation of holiday décor.
Prep plants and perform various duties in warehouse and greenhouse. Document onsite plant condition through field service smart-phone application
Communicate any client issues/concerns to Management and follow up with client in a timely manner.
Engage with clients to build a strong professional relationship.
Manages time efficiently.

Requirements
Ability to bend, kneel, walk long distances, climb 6'-10' ladders and lift up to 30lbs
Ability to use a smart phone and time tracking phone application
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Prior experience with plants and gardening desired but not required
Valid Driver license, Auto insurance, and Dependable transportation
Criminal, RMV Background, and Drug test may be required
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
