Park Point Marina Inn located on Duluth’s Waterfront seeks a dynamic General Manager with great leadership and team building skills for our 68 room Award Winning Waterfront Hotel Resort. TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence Award Winner (2014-2022). Should have a passion for great hospitality service and strong financial, marketing, and P&L skills. Requires 2-4 years of General Manager experience for a leading franchise or non-franchise hotel operation.

Job Responsibilities: The General Manager is responsible for all aspects of operations of the hotel, from day-to-day staff management to guest and client relations. The General Manager provides leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of service expectations, maximizing operations, and overall guest satisfaction to maximize profitability. Be able to plan, organize, direct and coordinate the operations of all Housekeeping, Marketing & Sales, Engineering, and Front Desk, with their appropriate management staff. Will evaluate changes in guest needs, industry, and competitive trends to recommend appropriate product/service and operational changes to be made to ensure guest and employee satisfaction, in order to maintain market dominance and achieve exceptional financial returns.

Qualifications:

• The General Manager should always be able to provide consistent support to the success of the operation
• 2-4 years of Hotel General Manager experience at a comparable property is necessary for the position
• The General Manager must have a proven track record in the hotel industry demonstrating achievement of outstanding profit and guest service-related goals
• The General Manager must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
