Overview:

Partners with business leaders and Director of HR in planning and strategy related to any human capital management objectives. Supports the Director of HR to manage the day-to-day human resources functions, including but not limited to employee relations, compensation and other human capital management issues. Brings concerns, process improvements, etc. to HR management and other house leadership.

Responsibilities:
  • Partners with business leaders in planning and strategy related to any human capital management objectives. Manages day-to-day human resources functions, including but not limited to employee relations, compensation and other human capital management issues. Brings concerns, process improvements, etc. to HR management and other house leadership.
  • Partner with corporate to assist in benefit annual enrollment and other daily benefit administration. May conduct new hire orientation for new associates.
  • Assist locations with sourcing candidates and interviewing as needed.
  • May assist in the administration short-term disability, FMLA and workers compensation programs. Respond to any escalated inquiries.
  • Assist in facility training requirements (safety, ethics, etc.).
  • Maintain associate files as appropriate. Assists with maintaining various spreadsheets and rosters, auditing and report generation.
  • Administers local Positive Associate Relations strategy.

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resource Management or its equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in related area
  • Have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
  • PHR certification preferred
  • Excellent MS Office skills
