Human Resources Coordinator
Job description
We are looking for a seasoned and diligent HR Coordinator to join our Signal team. The HR coordinator should provide administrative support to employees, assisting the HR Manager with recruiting candidates and ensure all employee information is correct and up to date. You will also be required to promote retention by assisting in orientation and following up with employees on any questions they may have regarding their employment.
To be successful as an HR Coordinator, you should be personable with a flair for organization and communication. Ultimately, a top-notch HR Coordinator will assist the HR Manager with recruitment, onboarding, maintain employee records, and provide administrative support to all employees.
Your day may look like:
- Anticipating organization needs and taking proactive approach.
- Utilize Indeed to communicate with potential candidates and schedule interviews.
- Extending offer letters, new hire packets, and other documents for employees to fill out and authorize.
- Performing routine filing, scanning, and archiving of records to ensure retention compliance.
- Assisting the HR Manager with onboarding processes.
- Ensuring HR procedures are compliance with current HR law.
- Overseeing new hires' information is registered and implemented authority.
- Implementing strategies to develop and retain employees.
- Developing additional responsibilities as company grows
- Any additional duties assigned by supervisor.
Our ideal candidates have:
- 2 -3 years of experience in the Human Resources field.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- In-depth understanding of appropriate duties and compensation for each position.
- Alignment with company mission, vision, and values.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Power Point, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Self-motivated, goal- oriented, and driven to accomplish department goals.
- Familiarity with security industry preferred, but not required.
