Job Summary
This is a high-profile role with regular interaction with C-Suite executives and demanding external stakeholders requiring attention to detail, as well the ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in handling sensitive information. This position’s incumbent must have 8+ years of finance related professional experience with strong financial analysis and modeling capabilities, as well as proficient project management skills paired with solid written and spoken communications abilities.
Job Responsibilities
- The Investor Relations Manager is responsible for assisting in the development of the company’s external financial communications that include earnings releases and presentations, conference presentations, quarterly fact sheets, an annual fact book, as well as managing the corporate investor relations website.
- In addition, the Investor Relations Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management, legal, accounting, and finance teams to support the development of quarterly earnings releases, annual reports, and other key investor materials.
- Create and manage investor presentations, earnings calls, and other investor events.
- Ensure that all investor communications are accurate, timely, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities for the company.
- Analyze and interpret financial data and market information to prepare investor presentations, reports, and briefings.
- Serve as a key point of contact for investor inquiries and manage the investor relations website.
- Help organize and participate in investor conferences, roadshows, and other events to promote the company and its investment opportunities.
- Monitor and track the company's stock performance and provide regular updates to senior management and the board of directors.
Job Specific Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field
- At least 8 years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or a related field. Or, 5 years experience in these fields with an MBA or CFA
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Knowledge of SEC reporting and compliance requirements
- Experience with finance software and databases and platforms (Bloomberg)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
