Responsibilities:

Installation of steel stairs and railings, ornamental steel structures, fences, gates, awnings, and canopies Welding, torch cutting, grinding and fabrication Layout, fabricating, hoisting, and erecting structural steel (columns, beams, joist, and girders). Read drawings or blueprints to determine work requirements. Using angle and bent plate, welding clips, joists, tube steel or angle kickers as needed use plumb bobs, levels, and laser equipment to check alignment. Maintain truck inventory and upkeep.

The responsibility of this position is help team plan and work efficiently, with confidence and competence. The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and strong commitment to tasks completed on time. The person in this position will take work seriously, has a strong sense of duty, and is disciplined. A somewhat faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detailed, specialized work is the major focus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $24.00 per hour
