Job Summary -You must have a combination of 7 years experience (education & previous experience) in order to be considered for this position.

The IT Asset Manager works under the direction of the Sr. Director and/or Director and is responsible for managing IT inventory functions and administrative operations. The IT Asset Manager will work with vendors, facilitating and managing local project deliverables as well as day -to -day activities associated with the delivery of IT and administrative services within EITS. The manager will also be responsible and accountable for procurement, management of hardware deployments and inventories in his/her care.

General tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Maintains records and databases containing information regarding deployed and on stock inventory of all equipment, to include but not limited to make, model, PO numbers, serial number, IT Inventory number, location, device name, (if applicable).
• Allocates staff on basis of workload, space and available equipment.
• Participates in budgetary planning, reviews operating costs, performs cost studies and
• Assists with department budgets.
• May supervise studies related to the service/program and analyzes modifications and development of systems and procedures to improve departmental operations.
• Validate currently deployed equipment to ensure database records are current
• Ensure par level stock
• Tracks quality throughout the product lifetime, Reports defects and process relinquishment
• Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met
• Performs other duties as assigned/required
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB: CERTIFICATION(S)/NYS LICENSE(S): ·
• IAITAM - Certified Asset Management Professional (CAMP) (not required)
• EDUCATIONAL LEVEL: · Bachelor’s Degree

KNOWLEDGEABLE IN:

· Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures

· General knowledge of computer and communication capabilities

• YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3 years’ Experience with database or inventory / asset management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
