Defender Services, an outsource and staffing company located at 9031 Garners Ferry Road in Hopkins, SC, is seeking a FULL TIME IT SUPPORT TECHNICIAN for our corporate office. Defender Services is a 63-year-old company that provides workforce solutions for business such as manufacturing, educational, medical and more.
Shift: Monday through Thursday-8AM to 5PM and Friday-8AM to 2PM
Duties:
The IT Support Technician will work from the corporate office assisting the IT department in maintaining all technology in contracts located in 11 different states. This position is a hands-on working technician position that will require travel to contract locations when needed.
Requirements:
- Connectwise Automate & Control experience is needed or a competing RMM service that implements policies, plugins, alerts, ticketing, scripting and etc. However, training will be available.
- Capable of troubleshooting various software and hardware issues.
- Windows OS & O365 products deployment and configuration.
- Work experience in Bitdefender GravityZone is preferred
- Work experience in VMware system or Windows Hyper-VM is preferred
- Work experience in Veeam Backup solution is preferred
- Work experience in Domain and Website management is preferred
- Work experience in 0365 Admin management is preferred
- Work experience in Unifi Network is preferred
- Work experience in Server 2016 or newer including AD & GPO management is preferred
- Work experience in Apple Business Manager is preferred
- Work experience in VOIP management and hardware is preferred
- Work experience in Xerox management is preferred
- Work experience in AS400 basic knowledge is a plus
- Work experience in Sage X3 basic knowledge is a plus
- Must have a minimum of an Associates Degree in IT Support field or Certifications in A+, Network+ and Server+
- Certification in Security+ is a plus
- 5 Years or more of work experience as a Level 2 or higher IT Support person will be taken into consideration of lack in Degree.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in an IT department as a support person
