Cunningham Orthodontics is looking for a professional to join our motivated and ambitious team. The ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional attention-to-detail and will be organized, dependable, driven, forward thinking and ready to take their career to the next level with a growing practice. Responsibilities:

• Clearly communicate patient needs/concerns with the orthodontist
• Thoroughly educate patients on various procedures and treatment recommendations
• Provide general oral health care instructions to patients
• Gather all patient dental records
• Notate patient charting and clinical notes
• Take panoramic and cephalometric x-rays
• Take an intraoral scan with Itero
• Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during treatment
• Maintain patient supplies and ensure inventory is appropriately stocked
• Sterilize instruments, equipment and assemble trays
• Assist with 3-D printing
• Make appliances and retainers
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as an orthodontic assistant a plus
• Knowledge of dental/orthodontic terminology
• Previous experience using Dolphin software a plus
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Exceptional attention-to-detail
• Must have high manual dexterity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
