Litigation Paralegal (Contract) - Jacksonville
Job description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Paralegal for a contract job opportunity in Jacksonville, Florida. We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented professional for this position. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, with strong litigation experience.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury
- Proactive, flexible, with excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, Adobe, and legal case management software
Duties:
- Managing matters in the initial stages of litigation including, but not limited to, service of process
- Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents such as complaints and summonses
- Assembling documents, outlines, and exhibits for court filings, mediations, depositions, and hearings
- Drafting discovery and document production
- Calendaring and deadline management
- Conducting legal research and other tasks as assigned
