Job Details:
- Old Westbury, Long Island
- Have 5+ years of experience as a Housekeeper
- Hours: 40-50 hours per week
- Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
- Additional Benefits: Healthcare, vacation, sick time
Requirements:
- This is a live-in position
- The ideal candidate MUST have experience working in a large formal home.
- Excellent leadership Skills
- Flexible, responsible, respectful, trustworthy, hardworking, detail-oriented individual who takes initiative to clean and manage a household.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, discreet, and professional
- Candidate is expected to ensure the home inside/outside is kept organized, clean, and tidy
- Meticulous housekeeping of the entire home
- Garments care/laundering, ironing/steaming
- Care for various arrangements including antiques, custom furniture, carpets, drapes, and museum-quality artwork
- Ensure all household appliances are in working order
- Help with Laundry
- Grocery shopping, running errands
- Ensures that groceries are stocked at all times
- Inventory management
- Formal serving and table setting, as needed
- Organize and keep an inventory of household supplies and items in storage
- Manage wardrobes and closets
- Assist with packing and unpacking for travel
- Indoor/outdoor maintenance
- Answer the telephone and door to greet guests and visitors
- Pet care as needed
