About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Receiving/Check-in Specialist to join our team within our beautiful Carlsbad, CA location! In this role, you will support our receiving department - the leaders of getting items into our inventory!

Responsibilities include:

• Keep desk organized, practice safety when opening boxes and discarding of packaging
• Properly input received item(s) in database
• Accurately measure items and notate flaws and condition
• Properly write description of item(s), using SEO words and other applicable information (textiles, techniques, hardware)
• Affix appropriate SKU tag and place item(s) on tray
• File all contracts at the end of day
• Respond to tasks in a timely manner
• Work as a team to complete daily goals
• Perform miscellaneous job-related tasks assigned
• Attend Fashionphile University training

• Acute attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a fast pace without sacrificing accuracy or quality, to ensure department productivity goals are met
• Basic computer and multi-tasking skills, including data entry, internet savvy, quick to learn new programs
• Effective verbal/written communication and can work independently as well as on a team and act in a professional manner with co-workers and leaders
• Able to read and interpret invoices, ship lists and department training guides
• Able to lift 50lbs and frequently stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend or reach
• Able to use computer scanners and handheld devices
• Able to show up for work on time and consistently, even with flexible scheduling
• Learn to learn the overall roles and functions of other departments including Client Service/Showroom, Shipping/Inventory and Procurement

Pay Rate: This position begins at $18.00/HR for all New Hires into FASHIONPHILE's Carlsbad, CA location. Every Employee will have the opportunity for continued promotional opportunities via our Benchmarking Program which offers Title and Pay changes as you grow with the company.
