Job Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform duties as a professional under guidelines of Nurse Practice Act.

• Maintain infection control policies and procedures
• Dispense medications properly
• Application of wound dressing, wound care, suture removal and diabetic care.
• Collect and interpret appropriate data of biopsychosocial health status
• Provide respiratory care (suctioning, oxygen administration, tracheostomy care, aerosol and other respiratory therapies
• Promote adequate nutrition (placement and maintenance of feeding tubes)
• Provide basic emergency treatment required (CPR, Heimlich etc)
• Ensure resident safety and comfort by making rounds at least every two hours
• Provide direct care for residents
• Follow safety techniques in transferring, moving and positioning residents
• Maintain confidentiality and privacy
• Complete charting to meet professional standard
• Perform other duties as assigned by nursing administration
