Shift: 1st Shift, alternating days - 5:45am - 6:15pm

Pay: 19.08/hr Straight Time

Job Description:

• Set up and operate Core Cutting and Multiple Roll Wrapping Department Machines.
• Cut cores to size for slitter machine, ensuring proper supplies of cores for Slitting Jobs.
• Must be able to read a Micrometer

When Roll Wrapping:

• Weigh plastic rolls and label properly.
• Wrap Rolls according to Job Order specifications.
• Palletize rolls and deliver to finished goods area.
• Follow GMP’s, PRP’s, productions SOP’s, 5S and DTM.
• Back up to Slitter Operator for break relief.
• Must participate in SPS Pillar Teams as needed, including LCE /5-star Participation.
• Responsible for quality checks prior to running jobs, includes read Cust Specs.
• Conduct final inspection of rolls according to Final Inspection procedure.
• Report all unsafe acts and conditions to the department leads and managers immediately.
• Performs DTM prior to begin working in the Machine.
• Enter DATA in Quality Companion when required.
• Issue a Work Order when Machine or Parts are Required, follow MVP Procedures.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
