Maintenance Technician

$28 - $32 p/h

Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing manufacturing company who specialize in producing equipment for Medical Device companies. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining all assets in the production facility including routinely performing preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance to ensure efficient plant operations. To be selected for this role, you must have working knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, electrical and PLCs.

Responsibilities:

· Troubleshoot production and facility equipment

· Analyze mechanical or operational problems

· Help coordinate maintenance activities.

· Perform preventive maintenance of equipment, calibrations and repairs of equipment based on Maintenance Management Program.

· To respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and repair the machinery in a timely manner.

· Documents all work performed; complies with current GMP Manufacturing practices.

· Uses multimeter and schematics when troubleshooting electrical circuits.

· Maintain department repair parts stock and inventory. Requisitions tools, equipment, and supplies.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED

· 3+ years maintenance experience

· Electrical experience preferred

· Experience with PLCs preferred

· HVAC experience desirable

· Ability to use hand tools, shop power tools

· Ability to read blueprints and schematics

· Knowledge / understanding of ISO 13485 highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
