Qualifications:
Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including diagnostic radiology and mammography. CT experience a plus. Applicant must have AART with Mammography Certification. PACS experience preferred. Must possess basic computer and office skills. Ability to demonstrate competency in required skills; understanding and implementation of patient rights; ability to be courteous, diplomatic and tactful when interacting with others; ability to remain calm, follow directions and function effectively during emergent, urgent or unexpected events; willingness and flexibility to accept assignments; able to prioritize tasks; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties:
Performing all types of radiographic and mammography procedures. Responsible for patient safety protocols. Transporting patients to and from Radiology department. Quality improvement projects as directed by department manager/director. Ability to educate patients on exams and preps. Participates in regular, call and holiday schedules. Oversee state inspections & ACR accreditations. Other duties as required.
