StayDry Med Centers is a family of professionals. We are searching for an empathetic and caring full-time Professional with a warm and inviting personality to join our team as an Emsella Technician (EM Tech). StayDry EM Techs play an important roll in helping our patients regain their confidence, dignity and self-esteem by eliminating bladder leaks and incontinence in both men and women.

StayDry Med Centers uses the FDA-cleared Emsella Chair to rebuild strength in the pelvic floor. The medical device uses Hi Intensity Focused Electro-Magnetic energy (HIFEM) to contract and stimulate muscles. Emsella treatments simulate 11,200 Kegel exercises in 28 minutes. This therapy is completely non-invasive and patients remain fully clothed at all times.

For those suffering with bladder leakage, this treatment is life-changing. 25% of our patients are men who are recovering from prostatectomies and other prostate conditions; and the other 75% are women who have weakened pelvic floors from age, child birth, menopause, pelvic floor surgery, or any number of urological conditions.

Our Cary office has been open since November 2021 and has three Emsella Chairs. Although our offices are small, we have big hearts and truly try to help our patients with the courtesy, respect and dignity they expect and deserve.

Role Description

The ideal candidate for an Emsella Technician is person with a great, out-going personality and the ability to sell. The treatment is not covered by insurance so we need our staff to be able to share the benefits of the treatment with potential patients and be able to close the sale. If you are just getting back in the workforce after years of "working at home" or if you're a seasoned employee looking for a career change, this might be the perfect fit! A Medical or Aesthetic background is not required, but is a nice plus. What is required is a strong work ethic and the ability to connect with others. In addition, candidates should possess strong communication and presentation skills, solid administrative abilities; and sales experience.

Becoming a BTL Emsella Technician is the perfect role for professionals looking for a slower paced, single-focused work environment and who enjoy doing good for others.

Responsibilities:

• Provide the very best patient experience possible, maintaining patient confidentiality and commitment to safety.
• Greet and treat all patients with respect and a warm and inviting personality in person, by phone or electronically. Happy People Make People Happy.
• Screen potential patients who inquire about our StayDry Med Center services and properly document initial patient medical and marketing information in our Patient Management System.
• Schedule consults and appointments
• Conduct initial patient consults, complete contraindications review and gather patient health and wellness history on StayDry Intake forms.
• Consult and educate the patient about bladder Emsella Treatments, StayDry Med Centers, Payment Options and professionally recommend and propose best treatment program for the patient
• Perform new patient administration tasks including processing payments, receipts, scanning and sending medical records to Medical Director, follow up appointments, and follow up consults.
• Administer Emsella Treatments to patients by making them as comfortable as possible, educate and answer their questions, properly position the patient on the medical device and operate the Emsella Medical Chair as trained by Emsella and the Center Manager.
• Document all patient interactions in Patient Management System.
• Follow up with active prospective patients regarding treatment recommendations
• Recommend and promote StayStrong Monthly Maintenance program.
• Send information and brochures to patients as requested and thank you notes for physician and patient referrals
• Ask for referrals and reviews
• Help maintain a professional, clean, and sanitized office and work area & personal appearance.
• Be curious and take the initiative to learn more about the conditions affecting our patients including overviews, causes, treatments, and medications.
• Participate in community events promoting StayDry Med Centers.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Desired Education, Background and Experience

Training and Coaching Provided

This position is somewhat clinical in nature and to a larger degree relationship selling. We will coach you through our empathic approach to Patient Relationships and you will learn on the job to become a Certified Emsella Technician.
