Job description

We are seeking a full-time IT Network Administrator in our Louisville, Kentucky office to work alongside the Director of IT to support and monitor the organizations IT network as well as perform needed upgrades and maintenance. This includes supporting all network hardware, monitoring platforms and connectivity.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Monitor the assigned networks, ensuring optimal function and minimal downtime
• Monitor and analyze networks load including traffic and utilization trends
• Ensure networks are protected from physical harm, viruses, unauthorized users, and damage to date by developing and monitoring security procedures
• Maintains network systems, installing new hardware and modifying existing hardware, and related network software and applications
• Installs and maintains peripheral devices including switches, routers and other equipment
• Conducts periodic diagnostics and testing to ensure optimal network function and minimal downtime
• Collaborates with Director of IT to review and analyze hardware and software needs; recommends changes
• Monitor and maintain the organization's voice network, troubleshooting and analyzing hardware, software and peripheral issues

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field of study or equivalent relevant years of experience
• 3-5 years network experience required
• Thorough understanding of networking protocols
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to balance multiple priorities
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Ability to communicate technical information, both verbal and written
• Strong security background helpful

Pay: $47,068.00 - $60,331.00 per year
