Parts Room Coordinator – Covington, GA

$27.57/hr-$30.36/hr

The opportunity:

• This position is responsible for the procurement of parts to support the plant.
• Responsible for the management and administration of the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) including inventory control and work order modules along with software support.
• Work in conjunction with Purchasing Coordinator
• Maintains professional and courteous customer relationships with client, vendor, and internal team.
• Ensures spare parts inventory is received, maintained and distributed according to specified procedures
• Keeps inventory and all related records organized and orderly for ease of retrieval
• Prepares and audits spare parts requisitions for purchase
• Keep daily reporting current with status of spare parts. Controls access to the spare parts crib
• Issues spare parts to technicians upon request
• Prepares spare parts requisitions as required
• Assigns work order numbers to spare parts requisitions
