Job Summary: If you have a passion for helping individuals with developmental or intellectual disabilities, Path Forward is looking for you! A client in the Oakland, KY area is in need of Personal Care/Assistance services. This individual utilizes a wheelchair and requires assistance with all hygiene related tasks. We are looking for someone caring and capable to provide care with respect and dignity. Weekend and evening availability needed!

• DSPs work one-on-one with clients in their homes or the community to help them gain independence
• Individual goals DSPs may support include: improving personal care/hygiene and wellness, socialization, healthy habits, reading or money management through a variety of activities
• You could help educate the community about people with disabilities – just through companionship with our clients
• Minimal experience is not an issue! We are here to help you succeed through in class paid training and online course
• Work another job? Taking college classes? No problem! As an Independent Contractor, you make your own schedule

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal DSP is compassionate and flexible, has a current driver's license with reliable transportation, cell phone, access to the internet and data entry skills.

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Choose your own hours
• Evening shift
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Oakland, KY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
