Job description

Compass Therapy Solutions is currently hiring an Physical Therapist to serve Early Childhood and K-12 students for the 2023-2024 school year.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of PTA, as applicable
• Consulting with parents, school/District staff, physicians, medical equipment vendors, ordering appropriate adaptive equipment
• Diagnostic evaluations, Screenings
• Small group, in class or individual therapy with identified students
• Record keeping for student attendance for therapy
• Completion of progress reports and therapy notes.
• Attendance and participation in required multidisciplinary team meetings, including IEP meetings as needed
• Preparation of paperwork related to eligibility and discontinuation/dismissal meetings
• Participation in school-based response to intervention activities,
• Attendance at approved District in-service meetings, as requested,

Skills

• Proven working experience as occupational therapist
• Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Applicant must have a current license to practice PT in the state of Missouri
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Will consider interested candidates for full or part-time. No minimum hourly requirement.
