Dr. Monica Scheel is a Board Certified Dermatologist with over 20 years of experience. Dr. Scheel’s vision for her practice has been achieved by creating a practice that includes state of the art technology, a caring staff, and a beautiful office.

Dr. Monica Scheel Dermatology is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join their practice and provide personalized patient care. Focused on streamlining patient services and improved operations to ensure patients are treated as part of their family.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Unrestricted Physician Assistant license in the state of Hawaii required
• Ability to perform medical and surgical dermatology.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to perform medical and surgery dermatology.
• Computer skills and familiarity with EHR/EMR programs.
• Knowledge of marketing and social media with your own channels and creating before and after pictures for the practice.
• Confidence to work independently but is also a team player.
• Willingness to take over existing patients as well as take on new patients.
• Ability to see patients promptly and efficiently.
• Values excellence in patient care.

JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform a full range of patient examinations, including skin checks and other dermatological conditions.
• Create treatment plans that align to the needs of each patient.
• Perform skin biopsies and minor excisions.
• Monitor all test results and provide prompt follow-up with patients.
• Prescribe and refill medications as needed.
• Review each patient's records pre and post treatment, and develop patient treatment plans
• Effectively communicate with physicians and staff
• Provide excellent service and genuine patient care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

COVID-19 considerations:
Regular washing/sanitizing of hands required.
Temperature and screening taking prior to commencing work. Those with fever or symptoms are required to go home. Negative Covid-19 test result required to return to work.

• Bachelor's (Required)

Experience:

• Physician Assistant in Dermatology: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
