Process Engineer with 4 to 10 years expertise in technical analysis, performance of high-level engineering calculations, writing of technical reports, and other responsibilities associated with identifying and resolving a variety of engineering challenges in the chemical and related industries. Must be capable of working independently with minimal supervision while providing accurate and effective results.

Position Responsibilities:

Perform various technical analyses and calculations as dictated by the needs of our Clients.

Effectively interact with Clients to identify specific needs or requirements.

Develop / modify technical drawings (P&ID's, PFD's, H&M Balances).

Identification of deficiencies and areas for improvement in industrial processes and systems.

Develop engineering specifications for pumps, vessels, and other equipment, vendor contact as needed.

Provide Process support to other engineering disciplines.

Occasional local and overnight travel may be required.

Accountable for producing work that is accurate, timely, and complete.

Accurate accounting of time and worked performed for client billing.

Follow all client safety rules and regulations while on client site.

Coordinate with Lead Engineers, Project Managers and Client counterparts to ensure safe and timely project execution.

Education Requirements:

  • B.S. Chemical Engineering Required.
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) is a plus.
  • Experienced as a Process Engineer in or related to the Petro-Chemical Industry.
  • Experience in the area of Fluid Dynamics is a plus.
  • Able to work on multiple projects to meet engineering and project timing.
  • Willing to work over 40 hours to meet client deadlines.
  • Familiar with interpretation and application of Codes and Standards such as ASME, API, and NFPA.
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and achieve results.
  • Experience with ASPEN design software a plus.
