Production Line/Maintenance Operator
Job description
Piedmont Springs is a fast growing regional bottled water company. We are a close knit team running a fast production line and are looking to add a team member. We are looking for someone with a "STRONG MECHANICAL SKILLSET." If you have a strong mechanical ability and you like working with a team, equipment, and the ability to make a difference daily then this job is for you. Associate will participate in the production and distribution of company products by operating & maintaining various bottling equipment. This includes manual operations as well as automated machines. The associate will inspect, stack, and feed raw materials and finished goods. They will participate in shipping and receiving functions, and they will have both general and specific manufacturing responsibilities. The associate will follow company safety, food safety, personnel, quality and operational policies.
Qualifications
- High school or equivalent (Preferred)
- Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred)
- Leadership: 2 years (Preferred)
- US work authorization (Preferred)
- Privately owned and operated with 26 years of historical strength and stability

What your day will look like:
- Operate and perform intermediate troubleshooting on equipment
- Identify and resolve line bottlenecks; be able to effectively communicate equipment issues and perform minor mechanical repairs
- Perform product change over without assistance
- Perform package change over without assistance on multiple pieces of equipment
- Be capable of operating equipment on multiple package platforms
- Prepare quality check sheets and conduct pre-production checklists
- Proficient and effective use of shop floor data management systems
- Identify and report any situation that may affect the equipment, the product and the employee.
What you need to succeed: * Minimum age 18 years old
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required
