Data Loading Analysts (DLAs) are responsible for various loading activities related to the provider network database (NDB). DLAs make informed decisions to deliver quality results and are responsible for properly maintaining the provider data housed in our core systems to allow for proper claim payment and member directory information.

You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Consistently meet expectations for quality and time utilization metrics in a production-based environment
  • Ability to use Excel for sorting, filtering, and locating specific data elements
  • Daily work requires ability to utilize multiple systems/applications simultaneously
  • Ability to navigate non-Windows-based applications
  • Receive requests to maintain provider data from multiple inbound sources (e.g., Excel spreadsheets, emails, Word, PDF’s, etc.) from within the organization
  • Utilize critical thinking by interpreting instructions that accompany the inbound data from multiple sources and conduct detailed analysis within legal, regulatory context
  • Demonstrate an understanding of and apply business strategies, rules, and procedures as appropriate (e.g., determine whether to reject or accept data prior to entry)
  • Navigate multiple sets of operating procedures to gain knowledge on state specific laws and regulations in order to maintain proper credentialing and contracting requirements
  • Utilize database systems and tools to enter and/or research provider data that is maintained in our business operating systems such as Phycon, NDB, CLM, OMEGA
  • Identify appropriate contact to verify/clarify information and/or data to be entered, when required
  • Review system downstream results to determine whether contractual data fed properly and make updates as necessary
  • Ability to maintain education on current knowledge of business strategies, rules, and procedures (e.g., attend training)
  • Participate in applicable ad hoc projects, as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of experience with provider data (demographic and/or contractual)
  • 1+ years of customer service experience
  • 1+ years of computer experience utilizing Microsoft Office and computer navigation skills
  • 1+ years of data entry experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with provider data (demographic and/or contractual)
  • Experience in a medical office setting or a corporate environment
  • Experience working in an environment that included having accountability for meeting metrics
  • Experience with dual monitor environment

Soft Skills:

  • Demonstrated communication and organization skills
