As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Amada, you'll have the opportunity to work on IoT projects for a wide range of manufacturing clients. You'll be testing various solutions including Web and iOS applications. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you'll have the opportunity to work on Industrial IoT projects for a wide range of clients.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Quickly and efficiently identify and prioritize testing requirements across multiple projects.
- Generate creative solutions.
- Identify and resolve problems promptly.
- Work well in group problem-solving situations.
- Manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
- Respond promptly to customer needs.
- Respond to requests for service and assistance.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Think creatively and on-the-fly, easily changing gears to provide alternate testing approaches as necessary.
- Think critically to distill bugs down to the essential issues that caused them, eliminating superfluous steps.
CORE COMPETENCIES:
- iOS, tvOS, and Windows testing
- Strong understanding of QA best practices, methodologies, and industry standards.
- Modern auto testing environment
- Attention to detail
- Critical thinking and problem solver
- Self motivated , excellent time management, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Natural inclination towards user experience and general usability, ensuring quality accordingly
SKILLS:
- Postman testing software
- SQL query
- Experience working with test management tools and bug tracking systems.
- Basic programming or scripting skills
- Knowledge of manufacturing process and ERP/MRP

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 3 years to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of
education and experience.
PAY RANGE: $72,000-95,000 DOE
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
