Accel Entertainment is the largest Gaming Terminal Operator in the country. SUMMARY

Repair, troubleshoot, and prepare all gaming equipment for field deployment in accordance with Accel Entertainment and Illinois Gaming Board specifications. Ensure maximize quality and efficiency of the delivery, installation, and operation of all gaming product to customer locations throughout the state.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Identify and prepare all equipment in collaboration with Compliance and Service teams under the direction of the Gaming Quality Assurance Manager

· Ensure quality and integrity of all incoming and outgoing equipment

· Install, inspect, and test electronic gaming devices, hardware, equipment, and associated systems as required for efficient, continuous business operations

· Identify and troubleshoot all malfunctions to perform necessary repairs of electronic gaming devices and equipment

· Identify and communicate inventory needs for equipment to ensure minimal downtime and quick turnaround of product

· Observe all safety regulations and report unsafe conditions to management

· Follow all department, company, and state policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

· 2 years of electronic technical training preferred

· 2 years of experience in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electronic systems and equipment required; slot technician experience preferred

· Must demonstrate an ability to understand basic electronic theory and mechanics

· Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and instruments

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions

· Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

· Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees

· Versatility and willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

· At least 21 years of age

· Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler’s License from the Illinois Gaming Board

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Frequently required to stand, sit, walk, talk, and hear
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity, including use of a keyboard
  • Frequently required to lift/push weights up to 1100 pounds

· Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl

  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close, distance, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust or focus
  • Exposure to hot and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts
  • Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
