Job Summary and Qualifications

What will you be doing in this role?

• As part of our team, you will be responsible for the clinical management of the patient while assuring satisfaction of our customers (patients, visitors, physicians and other staff members.)
• You will participate in and understand Quality Management activities while promoting cost effective unit operations.
• A key responsibility for you will be documenting nursing care in Meditech.
• You will utilize a wide variety of skills sets including wound care, oncology, general medicine and orthopedics.
• Members of our team actively participate in the orientation of new personnel, and have willingness to identify or assume activities relative to the developmental needs of unit and the nursing department.

What qualifications you will need:

• VA RN license or valid RN Compact State License
• Nursing graduate with Associates Degree in Nursing. BSN preferred.
• Previous nursing experience in an acute care facility preferred.
