*This is a remote position hiring in Idaho, Florida, Tennessee, Nevada or Texas*

Growing busy medical billing company seeking an experienced and dependable Medical Biller. Self-Starter with strong problem solving skills. Motivated individual must be detailed oriented, organized and work well under pressure.

Job duties and experience:

• Minimum 2 years experience in medical billing
• Remote Experience is a plus
• Knowledge of medical billing and medical terminology
• Experience in entering procedure codes and diagnosis codes to bill to insurances
• Experience in entering insurance payments and adjustments in medical billing software
• Familiar with electronic claim filing process and paper claim requirements
• Working knowledge of contract insurances, HMO's, PPO's, Medicare/Medi-cal
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Experience with billing software is a must
• Strong data entry skills

Equipment:

• Employee must have access to their own computer, fax, telephone and internet service provider.
• Preferred minimum equipment requirements: 20mb/10mb Upload/Download speed, Windows 10, 8 gigs of RAM memory, and a i3 processor.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
