A Long Island health services network is looking to add a new Site Residential Supervisor to their growing team in Nassau County.

- Setting: Group home
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm
- Patient Population: OPWDD population
- Patient Volume: 6 to 8 per site (max 10)
The Site Residential Supervisor will:
- Act as an advocate for residents in a variety of situations and teach them new life skills
- Assist residents overcome barriers and challenges to establish and maintain a network of relationships and valued social roles
- Ensure that all supports and services provided are in alignment and designed to meet the needs of the people living in the residence
- Supervise, train, evaluate, and observe assigned Direct Support Professionals (DSP)
- Interview, hire, develop and retain high quality staff
- Ensure that all required documentation is completed appropriately and in a timely manner
- Prevent, recognize and report abuse toward the people we support
- Ensure residence and individual finances are balanced and in compliance
- Manage and approve team members’ time worked in the residence while ensuring there are sufficient team members to meet the needs of the people living in the residence at all times
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 1+ year of related work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Experience working with individuals with Disabilities
- Computer savvy
- Solid problem solving and time management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Associate's and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services and/or related field
