Our IS4S Ogden, Utah location is seeking to hire an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to support a variety of government-funded projects related to open architectures, open systems, autonomy, communications, electronic warfare, and advanced navigation technologies. In particular, we are looking for candidates who are self-starters, teachable, and able to learn new things as they work together with others to solve challenging technical problems. We are especially focused on developing modular open systems that enable rapid prototyping and deployment of real-world systems.

Job Description
This position will:

• Support conversion of customer requirements into clear system requirements for PNT systems
• Support the integration, configuration, operations and maintenance of the PNT architecture as well as troubleshoot and resolve issues across multi-platforms
• Perform systems engineering processes, procedures, and best practices
• Provide engineering expertise to activities such as development, testing, evaluating, training and configuration management in support of an acquisition program
• Provide technical support to evaluate and integrate new technologies to modernize PNT
• Work with system, hardware, and software teams to design solutions to meet requirements
• Work with test team to ensure that all requirements are tested
• Stay appraised of advances in PNT technology
• Effectively collaborate with organizations within the Air Force to communicate and coordinate on PNT considerations

The successful candidate will have:

• Strong desire to contribute to overall team success
• Excellent Written and Oral Communication Skills
• High degree of proficiency in MS Office Suite

Required Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science, or related technical field (for full-time applicants)

• High MS Excel and Word proficiency
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability and motivation to work with minimal direction

Additional Experience / Qualifications of Interest:

• Operational experience with F-16 and F-35
• Experience with PNT systems is desired
• Broad experience to develop and expand our business strategy
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally across the organization to deliver world class engineering solutions to our customers
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions
• Proactive, self-motivated and self-directing; able to drive deliverables and results which involves people who do not always report to you

Must be a US Citizen; this position requires obtaining a government security clearance.
