Solution Engineer (Strategy/Portfolios)

As a Solution Engineer (Strategy/Portfolios), you will be responsible for technology solutions and strategy direction and choices within portfolio of products to meet customers business requirements, incl. design of business architectures and business models.
What You Will Do
- As required, work will involve design and development of standard and complex solutions for IT communication and infrastructure technologies and systems.
- Will assist in creating proposals with detailed scope of work, approach, and methodology to deliver consultancy engagement, creating the project plan and pricing information.
- Will work closely with company sales team to prepare and deliver customer presentations for business development, incl. IT Master Plans, Operations and Process Improvement projects.
- Will review and develop business strategy and alignment to IT/IS strategy, review of operational processes, contribute to the development of regional or local partnerships, and perform other duties, as needed.
- Travel: 70% travel required (South, Central and North America)
Required
- Bachelor's degree in electronic engineering or related field
- At least 5 years in position offered or in technology solutions, air transport industry
- Air transport industry communications and IT infrastructure incl. data and voice, and networking solutions (LAN, WAN, SDN, mobility and wireless)
- Technical support for RFP/RFIs focused on airport MSI opportunities, incl. technical presentations and workshops for customers and partners
- MSI technology planning, strategy, direction and design choices and deployment of airport solutions for projects to meet customer requirements
- Project management
- Deployment of IP telephony at ticketing counters
- Airport passenger processing systems
- Airport management and operation system
