Position Summary:
The Sr. HR Generalist and HR Manager will work together to integrate business objectives with our people strategy and initiatives. Support the impact of our employee programs including performance management, development, and engagement initiatives. Influence leaders to promote a performance culture through effective utilization of tools such as Talent Planning and Performance Reviews. Work with leaders to understand and articulate employee engagement feedback and data to enhance overall culture and work environment. Collaborate with various teams throughout our line of business to ensure tools are being utilized. Partner with site leads to ensure new tools/programs are delivered, and action plans are communicated and implemented at the site level.
Major Responsibilities:
  • General HR program & policy development, administration, and compliance
  • Handle routine inquiries, correspondence, and departmental administration, i.e., basic employee questions, organizational change administration, vacancy analysis, performance review support, etc.
  • Employee onboarding, training, termination, and records maintenance
  • Staffing and Recruiting- help build pipelines of talent that can be utilized on-demand as new positions emerge and needs shift
  • Handle payroll processing and assist with local benefit program research and analysis
  • Employee and labor relations and communications
  • Rewards program coordination and/or administration
  • Talent and Organization Performance
  • Coordinate the administration of all Leave of Absence programs and processes including transitional work and accommodations
  • Develop any necessary reports from HRIS for surveys, reports, internal and external data requests, etc. Own data integrity and processing in HRIS.
  • Administer and maintain accurate records of necessary federal, state, and local reports as required by the applicable laws, S.O.P.s and company policies
  • Participate and facilitate and take charge of organization within the Safety, Social, and Improvement Committees.
  • Other duties as outlined or needed for success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience
  • 5+years Human Resources Generalist experience
  • PHR or SCP certification preferred
  • Must have the ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), such as Workday and Kronos
