Must Have

• Decontamination, washers, sterilizing, tray assembly
• SPM instrument tracking system

Shift: 8hr Day Shift (40)

Shift Start Time: 2:45pm-11:15pm

On Call, Call Back Requirements: No call

Weekend Rotation: No weekends

Holiday Requirements: No holidays

Floating Requirements: Will float between 2 sterile processing departments in same building

JOB DESCRIPTION

Processes and maintains proper care of all surgical instruments and equipment, scopes and powered surgical instruments which includes inspection, evaluation of proper function, cleaning disinfecting and sterilization. Maintains quality control and documentation records of the sterilization process. Distributes designated supplies and equipment to all areas of the medical center.

-Works between two sterile processing departments in same building
-Processing surgical instrumentation, scopes, TEE probes for Operating room, Cath lab, Nuc Med, ICU, ED, and various clinics.
-Instrumentation from various specialties including; orthopedics, eyes, neuro, plastics, ENT, urology, cardiothoracic, Vascular, GYN, robotics, and general surgery.
- We are closed on July 4th as observed holiday. No weekends or call.
