POSITION SUMMARY

Our Summer Internship Program will run from Monday, June 5th through Friday, August 4th, 2023. Interns will have opportunities to learn from different business units throughout Alterra Mountain Company, network, find mentors, learn more about our business, and grow as a professional.
All Alterra Mountain Company internships are paid and based out of our Headquarters in Denver, Colorado. Open to Juniors, Seniors, new graduates, Masters and MBA program students.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Assistance with Employee Resource Group planning and materials
Assistance with commemorations calendar planning and events
Assistance with the development of equitable non-profit partnership criteria advancing DEI
Assistance with DEI training materials
Assistance with DEI data analysis
Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experiences – lived, educational, and/or professional – working to advance inclusive cultures, equitable systems, and diverse teams
Experiences – lived, educational, and/or professional – partnering with underrepresented communities
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication ability
Exceptional organization and time management skills
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)
Ability and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams
A curious mindset and appetite to learn, with solid analytical and problem-solving skills
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field
Education requirements can be supplemented with Minors, Certificates, work experience, and/or extracurriculars
